Clicked on to this, thinking I might get some useful advice - is this news for anybody?????? Those people saying "Thanks" - did you really not know this???? Are you aged 12 or just been brain dead for the last 30 or 40 years?

There is a behavioral component here, because STDs spread much more rapidly when there is not monogamy or abstinence. Also, New Year City has tried flooding their city with condoms for years, yet STDs keep going up; some journal reports also corroborate the long-term ineffectiveness of condom-based strategies. (e.g., Stall 1988, Am. Psychologist 43 11: 878-885), when failure rates are considered (plus people generally don’t consistently use them in the long-term, once they become sexually uninhibited). Condoms also don’t fare so well against viral STDs.
