Why can't we use oils that aren't so damaging? Please boycott all palm oil products.

Para o meu café da manhã, eu mesmo faço o meu queijo, yogurt e geleia.
Tudo bem natural.

Please boycott Nutella, Hershey's chocolate spread, "natural no-stir" peanut butter, instant ramen, most brands of margarine and microwave popcorn, International Delight coffee creamer, and "yogurt" covered snacks. Good substitutions are : peanut butter that you need to stir (it is only peanuts and salt), coconut oil or olive oil instead of margarine, air popped popcorn instead of microwave pop, Coffee-mate creamer (liquid, not powdered), and plain raisins or pretzels instead of the yogurt covered kind...

This list is not much use for those in countries other then the US. We have a lot of own brand and other stuff which states that the palm oil is sustainably produced - nothing has been said about that.

Ok, I agree with you absolutely. But you did not say how to stop using it only which products and companies do use it. Most of the products or companies on the list are ones that I turn to in order to avoid eating meat, minmize dairy, avoid companies that experiments on animals. In additon I live outside the US and Europe where access to alternatives is even more difficult to come by. So what now?

Ok, somebody here please write an article about how industry can substitute palm oil by something more sustainable -as otherwise I got to crawl the net and probably get lost there somewhere.
would be nice.
anyways, thx for sharing.
