Is Love the Greatest Power on Earth?

Is Love the Greatest Power on Earth?

The secret to creating a life that you love is all in your head. It’s your imagination and will power. You can have anything you imagine if you also have the determination and focus to see it into reality.

My mother taught me that the world is clay and we are the sculptors that get to shape our destiny. I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of quality time with her before she passed a few months ago. I interviewed her during her last weeks. One of the questions I asked was: What do you regret most about not doing or accomplishing in this incarnation?

She answered, “That I couldn’t let love in and couldn’t give it to those that I felt the deepest for because I was afraid it would make me too vulnerable and I would get hurt because I was hurt as a child.”

Those words stuck with me. As a Hollywood therapist, it made me think of my clients that have divulged some of the same feelings but in different ways. What does this say about our society? In truth, love is all there is.

We have to be conscious of not just identifying with the small, insecure self inside us because when we do that we stay at a level that holds us back from our true selves, our Authentic Soul. If we’re not allowing ourselves to love and give we will not receive love or get. If you don’t feel loved, it is hard to manifest.

One of the main reasons we are afraid of giving love is being hurt, not being loved in return. We seem to carry our personal hurts and fears with us throughout our lives; we take them with us wherever we go. They are part of our tapestry….Continue reading at InspireMeToday.com.

Yes, if true and unconditional ... it is the engine that keeps us human, necessary for growth and survival.

Opposite of love is hate, and all that goes with it ... a distortion of love now often used for power, greed and manipulation. Shameful indeed.

Your life is all about the attitude you have -- how you handle not only accomplishments, but also heartbreak, adversity, disappointments, obstacles, etc.

It may well be, but as other's have mentioned, on this Earth we rarely see much evidence of it being in control.

Into the 21st century, love has become a meaningless word - between lovers, families and friends.Lucky are those who truly are loved by their immediate family- sons and daughters. Love comes with respect and deep feelings and sincerity.
I am now a skeptic when it comes to the word "LOVE." There are so many quotations floating in the internet about how this word is abused, and the tragic reality that there is no one there when you need them most, you thought you shared meaningful times- what a wrong perception. They didn't even get to know the person you are and are quick to be judge and jury, discarded like a piece of useless s..t. Even among families- people will use and abuse and just proves LOVE DOES NOT CONQUER. It is all for naught.

Simply Yes! Everything is love, and nothing can exist without it.

I'm laughing because my previous post seems to have been deleted but it was probably my own fault! I mentioned in the latter part that Care2 should delete all spam posts that have a certain name (the name of the website) in it, and since I mentioned the actual name, mine went too! Well, at least they ARE paying attention!

Menawhile, my other comment (as best as I can reconstruct it)...

I am all in favour of love, but I stopped reading the article when I read this...
"As a Hollywood therapist..."
As Francis B. said, it's just the...
"Usual old psychobabble."

And Care2 should not give us stories where we have to go to another website to finish it...
