Lift Up Your Day With Mother Teresa

Lift Up Your Day With Mother Teresa

It is said that just looking at Mother Teresa brings a person closer to a state of Grace. How much better if the world could look at a picture of her rather than the faces of murderers so often plastered over the news.

Lift up your day by gazing at a picture of this remarkable woman, who was a living saint, and read some of her words of wisdom, such as, “Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin:”

See her picture and read her words here.

She does not inspire me at all because I know too much the truth and how she thought suffering is good and let people hurt and die. She did not open homeless house in New York City, they require elevator but she did not want. Stupid since many homeless people need the wheel chair.

How odd to see another Care2 member with the same initials as myself! I heartily agree with all she has said!

I could really lift up my day if I had a fraction of the money that Mother Teresa spent of her own health care in France. Who knows? I might even find some treatments for my illnesses that actually work. Better still, if I had just 1% of her wealth, then I might not be facing yet another day of dull, grinding poverty. Never trust wealthy saints.

Perfection is for God alone. We are mortal and weak , that is why we need His help.

Just because people have faults doesn't mean that they are not doing their best to care for others. Every one of us fails , but we say sorry and keep going.

Oh, Bente, where do you get these ideas? She taught the need to love with all your heart, and to do it without expecting anything in return. That's a hard lesson to learn.
