How wonderful to make your
furniture look as clean and the wood as resonant as possible. This simple-to-make formula will give
your home a lovely lemon fragrance—lemon is known to lift the spirits—while the acid in lemon
juice works particularly well to pull dirt right out of the wood, leaving your furniture truly clean.

These fresh and clean smelling dusting cloths are great for your wood furniture. They are fun and lemony, and even make dusting a pleasure.

INGREDIENTS

2 or 3 tablespoons lemon juice
A few drops food-grade linseed oil or jojoba oil

Place the lemon juice in a bowl, add a few drops of the oil, and saturate dusting cloth with the liquid. Use the cloth to dust with.

You can add 2 drops of Lemon Essential Oil to 1 Tbsp of Jojoba Oil and then rub this into the furniture. It's easier to store essential oils than have lemons always on hand :)

Thanks for making the distinction re food-grade linseed. Am unclear whether the cloth is to be dried before use.

i heard that citrus peel oil is good to keep fleas away. Would lemon oil help too?

Is there a good plant-fiber to use if you (like me) are allergic to wool and other animal fibers?

I read that olive oil can be used as a furniture polish and to add some lemon to it for a lemony scent. I love lemons. Used to buy lemon oil furniture polish, but it was expensive. Love cleaning recipes you can make yourself.

So do you use the cloth dry or wet?

Zahida Novman

should we dry the cloth before using it or we can use it wet

Deb Newton
