Lighten Age Spots and Freckles Naturally

Summer days in the sun can make freckles and age spots more pronounced–at least, they‘ve sure done that to me. I now have a lavish amount of both, so I looked for a good natural way to lighten them that wouldn’t contain harmful chemicals. And I found one!

Wise beauties have used this one kitchen-cupboard ingredient for centuries to make their skin look smooth and flawless. Find the secret to lightening age spots and freckles naturally here.

Lemon juice is the key to lightening age spots and freckles. Its powerful acid action really does the trick. Here are two methods for using lemon juice:

1. To exfoliate dead skin and diminish the appearance of freckles and age spots, gently rub a cut lemon and 1/2 teaspoon sugar granules over the skin for a few minutes. Repeat at least once a week until the darkened areas fade.

2. Or–simply sit with a slice of lemon applied directly to the area for ten minutes. Repeat once a week until spots fade.

Freckles are beautiful if they are freckles. Age spots and sun spots are not beautiful though because they can be large and splotchy and don't naturally go with your underlying skintone. I've always had freckles and recently got agespots from not wearing sunscreen and I am going crazy looking at them. I have to fade them NOW!! They are making me look tired and old!

thanks,I'm going to try the lemon juice method.

Well I've been using lemon juice in a bottle everyday and leaving it on my face untill i wash it and then putting it on again when I sleep so basically I keep it on all the time. Is this still efective, or could this be harming my skin? Will an actual lemon with the sugar trick work better or can I continue with my "method" - thank you.

as in the lemon shaped bottle that you can get from the grocery store? because i have loads of freckles on my face that i cant stand! and now that its summer, they will be worse! and i have heard of many success stories from people that have used lemon juice from a bottle on their face twice a day then rinsing it off. or you keep it on overnight and wash it away in the morning. that is suppossed to work very well. i would like to try it. but wanted to know if it is harmful.
