Some of us, not naming any names here, might not have a Valentine’s date this year. So maybe this person doesn’t want to write all about green love-this and sustainable love-that. I mean, what’s she supposed to write about: what organic champagne not to drink when you don’t have a date? Or, say, what seasonal chocolate desserts not to make for your non-existent partner? Maybe what would make this hypothetical writer happy–when she wishes Eros’ arrows might actually inflict bodily harm–would be to focus on really super cute pictures of really super cute cuddling animals!
So in an effort not to be too cynical about Cupid and his little romantic shenanigans, without further ado: some really super cute Valentine-love from the animal kingdom. Purrrr….

All of them are absolutely gorgeous, but, I have to say, the monkey family is my favorite.
Please don't forget to visit the click to donate section on the take action page of care2 to help out animals and other worthy causes absolutely free!!!
Also, I live in Bridgeport, WV, and I am currently in the process of trying to trap several cats and kittens to get them spayed and neutered. I can get them spayed for $28 through a local low-income spay/neuter assistance program for which I qualify. The only problem is that I am lacking people who are willing and/or able to help me with this very important project. If you live close to the Bridgeport or Clarksburg area and would be willing to set/check traps, transport cats to and from the vet, or house the cats until surgery arrangements can be made, please email me at sandyv689@aol.com or vanessasandy@care2.com. If you would like to help, but do not live close, we could definitely use the donation of a humane trap or two, cat food (especially canned), and gift cards to any pet store, Tractor Supply Company, Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc (pretty much anywhere we could buy any animal supplies). If you have questions or suggestions, please email me at the addresses above. Thanks!!!
