Love First: Peace Follows, World Peace Day

Peace is on most everyone’s mind right now with recent news about Syria and other events. Focusing on peace is imperative for our future. There is sovereignty when people unite in the heart for the betterment of all people and the planet. That’s why I am involved in hosting a virtual World Peace Day event so people from around the world can be together in one place.

Our focus for this year’s World Peace Day is Love First, Peace Follows. This focus is about creating peace by individuals and communities taking responsibility for shaping a new world through increasing love, care and compassion for all humanity.

I am calling on its supporters to participate in a World Peace Day Care Focus and to invite others to join in the peace wave.World Peace Day

Imagine what it would be like if thousands of people around the world came together online and focused on world peace.

Join us for a special Peace Day Care Focus on September 19th, 20th and 21st in the Global Care Room on your Mobile devices, Facebook or GCI’s Web Site.

The Global Care Room (GCR) allows people to come together with their positive thoughts, meditations and prayers directed towards a specific cause. It is a way to connect with each other in heart-focused intention, in real time.

Global Care RoomThe Global Care Room previously existed as a web only application for computers but its newest iteration is now optimized and redesigned for mobile devices (smartphones, tablets and computers) and now you can even access it through your Facebook account.

You hear news about natural and man-made tragedies in the world almost every day. And while people donate to charities, give blood, and send food, medicine and supplies – there’s still a yearning to contribute energetically from the heart to focus our love and care towards those in need. That is what the GCR is all about.

We’re coming together in the heart to co-create a greater wholeness. It is heartwarming to see so many people regardless of their background, nationality or religion, collectively focusing love and compassion towards our global family and planet. By honoring our differences, we multiply the strength of connection.

Participants are invited to join any of three scheduled sessions occurring on September 19th, 20th and 21st at 4 am, noon or 8 pm PT. For those who cannot make these synchronized session times, the Global Care Room is open 24/7 so supporters can come together at a time that is convenient for them and join others from around the world.

It's relatively easy to surround yourself with peace and live a life of peace in your relationship with others.

Disregarding or pleading ignorance of all the horrors of war - perhaps even involving your country - is not the best way to go. Politicians hide the truth from us and their decisions need to be confronted. On the other hand, hundreds become very loud objecting to ethical decisions made by govts.

There are many millions who simply don't question anything their local, provincial and federal govts. do. Perhaps they've never researched anything in their lives and are just plain gullible. It's frightening that many seem to have nothing between their ears when they've never learnt to question info fed to them. Ignorance is seldom peaceful ....

Everyone seems to know what's needed. Now take a realistic look at the world we share and see how far we've fallen short. If we all know, how come?
