A California man has been arrested for allegedly killing and eating cats. Eye witness accounts tell of strange behavior such as a woman who said she saw him cutting up a deceased cat, and a neighbor who said the man was burning things in his backyard for several days in a row. One of the neighbors said the man would stare at his dog in a manner that made him uncomfortable. If the charges are true, it is very fortunate the dog is still alive.
Another neighbor said her puppy disappeared and there never has been a resolution as to what happened. It was reported police had previously visited his home and found evidence of the cat eating. The accused is being held on charges of animal cruelty and using a pet as food. The charges are misdemeanors, which might not keep the accused in jail for long, nor prevent further incidents. He was caught after someone phoned a tip into police and they responded promptly.
In America, using pets for food is abhorrent but in some parts of China eating cats and dogs has been accepted practice for some time. (The accused is not of Asian descent, however.) The situation described above seems different from any cultural practice. Some have speculated there is a link between violence towards animals and towards people.

I wonder if Rider and Mark are the same person. They repeat them self over and over and over and over. They say the same thing about every thing. I always comes down to killing for the food we eat and bla bla bla if you were just a veg head you wouldn't be a mass murdering killer worse than Hitler or Stalin. They only need one opinion about all that is wrong with the world, don't eat meat. Life is so simple. Wow, I had to go and look at one of the ads on the right about a new LSX 454E engine. 720 GM ass kicking American big block horse power coming to a GM car dealer near you.
How about that, 720 HP without killing anything I suppose you will find something wrong with that. I can see it now. It is worse than cow farts on the F6 layer of the ionosphere. What ever. I think I will go and light up the Chevelle, do a big harry ass burn out leaving a quarter inch of them Micky Thompsons on the asphalt with 300 yards of thick smoke and then go and have a double burger at A&Ws with a large fry, onion rings and a Coke with this mean ol' woman who keeps trying to get me to eat less meat. MMmmMmMmmMMmm GOOD!
'neighborhood' that is.
Jason Wilmert sounds like a real nut job!! I feel sorry for any stray cats in his neiborhood.

No "wool", Ryder. The things they promote of services offered may not be for all, and certainly I am not the slightest bit interested in plastic surgery, breast enhancements, etc., BUT the point is that many people are interested in them and information about the procedures is a valid service, and a TV show explaining them is a good thing. BTW, "C-Sections" used to be performed only when necessary. Now, they indeed ARE being done as a convenience for pregnant women and are "elective". Many women want to schedule the birth of their child, do NOT want labor induced and for many reasons, a "C-section" is a viable option. I know of several women who have had them, and each for a different reason. I really do not think a 14-yr-old MALE is qualified to judge this procedure being done or not. Also, Dr. Lisa never recommended that they be done, period. She explained the various methods used for having them done and the pros and cons of each. I don't understand how anyone could fault that.
Mark, you can post endless quotes from whomever you wish and it does NOTHING to add to your credibility, or impress anyone. Who the HELL is the "DEAN of York"? Do you mean the DUKE of York? If so, which one? And in case you forgot, the subject here is a man who stole, mutilated and ATE neighborhood cats.
lol. that's ok, Dent...people like you worry me, too. so much anger.
just remember, when you point your finger at someone else, there are three fingers pointing back at you.
Diane, if you think those TV doctors are credible you've had the wool pulled over your eyes.
those people promote elective C-sections and all kinds of crazy stuff that make our country's medical system substandard to that of every other industrialized nation.

Dent H:
If anyone says to you that you're an animal rights extremist...thank them, and reply with the fact that they are animal wrongs extremists...it's pretty extreme to pay someone (or do it yourself) to literally torture and kill innocent fellow sentient animals. Wake up folks, there is nothing extreme about not wanting to harm others. It's our natural state. Most humans are misguided and indoctrinated into believing that cruelty is normal.-Will Tuttle
