Damian Aspinall and Kwibi the gorilla grew up together in England when Kwibi was very young, but Kwibi had to be released into the forests of West Africa when he was 5 years old. This video shows the precious moment in which Damien and Kwibi reunite after 5 years of not seeing each other.

Damian says, "I go to Gabon 3 or 4 times a yr, so I’m always hopeful I can see him. But it’s no different than if u go to see a friend of yours in another country, and u meet and u have a reunion, and then u go on your separate lives again."
