Silly Maru kitty!
Silly Maru kitty!
There is a reason doe the elevation of the cat Nimue. A cat will always seek out the highest vantage point where ever it is and trust me this cat is most certainly NOT going to hurt itself as you are looking at the most versatile animal should they ever slip and fall. They have the God given talent to right themselves by design. In fact to prove this, I would search out videos of cats falling from high places, i.e. a tree and you can guarantee that it will land on it's feet every time! I also love the cat house it's in as it also looks to serve as a scratching post. Very high tech and functional looking!
How stupid putting this "cat house" on a chair with wheels.
Having this house on a chair did not seem to bother Maru at all - I think he likes his home being "mobile"! To me it is amazing that he fits in it!
Maru is beguiling!
My office chair is my kitty's favorite place in the house. He loves to run and jump into the chair, causing it to move and spin. One of his favorite activities. If we got rid of the chair, we'd have a very sad little kitty.
I'm liking Maru's new house! It appears to be made from his favorite substance (corrugated) cardboard. How environmentally conscious of him, too. A new house that's 100% recycable and biodegradable. As far as the chair thing goes, Anyone familiar with Maru knows that he loves to slide across the floor in his boxes. Perhaps his new house doesn't slide very well so his human kindly placed it on a chair so he could kind of slide across the floor.
Awww... I think Maru likes his new house!!
But, I agree with other commenters - his new house should not be on a rolling chair. They should have put it on a solid chair or the floor itself.
Once Maru was in it, he looked very content. But, I am sure if they bring in another box, he would be just as content in the box - LOL.
