I understand the Samurai had metal fans that could be used as weapons. Just a thought!
That "dance" with the red fan was awesome. I would like to have seen more!

I understand that Martial Arts began when the Rulers deprived the peasants of all metal weapons -- so they developed Martial Arts with sticks and with hands and the whole body. As a form of Resistance.

I dislike the ad that fronts this piece. Ads like that have no legitimate information and do not adequately discuss the issues in place. Teachers need advocacy. They certainly do not get paid well enough for what they do.
