Healthy New Year’s Appetizer Ideas

If you’re throwing a New Year’s Eve party, or just planning a quiet evening at home with a few friends or your family, you’re going to want some appetizers that won’t set you back in the health department like the standard chips and dips will. Chopped up veggies are always a good alternative, but they’re not exactly original. Instead, try some of these tasty and tantalizing ideas:

Spiced Smoky Almonds
Fig and Kalamata Olive Tapenade
Basil Lime Pumpkin Seed Pesto
Quinoa “Caviar”
Classic Tomato Mozzarella Stacks
Spicy Tortilla Chips and Mock Guac

And there’s lots more ideas here.

Those ideas for New Year's appetizers just came on time. I was getting concerned for awhile there because before I read your article, the appetizers I had in mind are not healthy and I hate not to practice what I preach so your suggestions are very helpful.

Hi Vitaliy,

I agree with you, except I'm convinced that what we consume influences our health very close to 100%

Vitaliy Syromyatnikov

Chinese saying is "Search for the reason of your illness at the bottom of your plate".
Food we eat influence at our health by 50% so don't eat all your eyes can see this New Year or everyday.

Thanx God I and my family know what to do to make our orgnisms work just like a clock and simultaneously eat what we want!

I wish you can 2!

Happy New Year from Ukraine!
