My cats have never been into catnip - but honeysuckle is a completely different story. We discovered this one day after my dad had trimmed the honeysuckle tree and put the trimmings in a box. He found my cat laying in the box, a big goofy grin on his face, completely stoned! We found that a twig of honeysuckle, in our multi-cat home, worked like a charm to break up any cat fights. Just toss it in among them, and watch them all get completely mellow and totally "happy." :-D

The best gift for any pet is your time and good training. I'm going to buy another package of pipecleaners and make a new spider for Sam the cat. Those spiders can really be flipped around! Kiva and I will play finding games that allow her to use her nose to earn cookies. Good times!

My guess is that most of our furry animal companions already have more than enough "stuff" just as their humans probably do......how about sending a monetary donation to a local dog or cat rescue in the name of your beloved pet?

There has to be more green cat gift than a collar.
