Meet the Care2 community of precious pets! We put out the call for your holiday pet photos and you answered — with photos of cats in Santa hats, dogs in bows, ferrets in Christmas trees, even a donkey in the snow. Brutus (pictured above) is a pitt lab mix and he is 16 years old now. He is a super sweet old dog, but back in the day he was a bit of a bruiser. He liked to carry logs, fetch sticks up and down the canyons of Los Angeles and go wave jumping at the beach. He’s had a long, happy life and he’s put up with a lot of funny outfits. This reindeer outfit is from when he was around 7 or 8 years old.

I hope the animals were rewarded for their patience in pleasing their masters. I am sure more than a few were thinking that they already had enough fur and did not need the extra adornment.
