There is a lot to like about the interior of Bar Jules, located in Hayes Valley of San Francisco and owned by chef Jessica Boncutter. At Remodelista, we’re particularly taken with the long narrow shelf holding dozens of votives in a mix of earthy colors, which give off a flattering light in the evening. Here are two elements to recreate the look at home.
Above: The Paxton Shelf from West Elm is available in 2-, 3-, or 4-foot lengths and in a white or chocolate finish; prices start at $59 for the 2-foot length.
Above: Chunky Glass Candleholder; $4 each at West Elm.

They're our love
What a relief! I'm glad to know I'm not really hurting myself with knuckle-cracking.
And people wonder why I didn't have children.
I will miss the way they look at me with their great big eyes and sweet little faces.
Wonderful, thanks for sharing.

wow a whole article for this??????
Thanks.
Pretty but not a new idea. Many do this and get much cheaper set up.
Thanks for sharing this creative idea.
Our cats would love the shelves but I wouldn't trust them with the candles.
$59 for a 2-foot white shelf? Wow, you must be a real sucker to pay that much.
thanks
