Rescued African Leopard Purrs During Massage (Video)

Voodoo was intended to be a house pet when a family with two Rottweilers purchased him. He was rescued, and at 5-months-old this African spotted leopard came to Cedar Cove. Even though Voodoo was declawed, he was too aggressive for the family and their dogs. At Cedar Cove, he purrs through petting sessions regularly and is a healthy 13-years-old leopard — a happy ending after all.

Awwww.... Voodoo is a big ole baby doll. I loved it when he was guiding the man's hand to where he wanted to be scratched. (LOL)!!

Although he is a stunning creature and is purring like crazy- imagine what he has missed out on. It's just sad

Beautiful being! It's unfortunate that people think such things can be pets! I'm happy it's content with the pets and snuggles!

Beautiful leopard with great purr.
Anyone who de-claws an animal should be de-nailed themselves.
Happy he seems to be very content now.
