Cooking shows are hot right now, and I’m always a little bit bummed that vegan food isn’t better represented on mainstream cooking programs. Sure, there was that one episode of Cupcake Wars where a vegan baker won, but other than that I can’t think of any other prominent vegans that are in the cooking show world right now.
Rather than be discouraged by the lack of vegan representation on cooking shows, Jaime K. decided to launch her very own! If you’re lucky enough live in to Lehigh or Delaware Valleys you can watch her show – Save the Kales – on TV or On Demand. The rest of us will have to make do with watching it online. Jaime releases a new episode once a month.

There are three episodes of the 30 minute show out right now, and they’re all available on YouTube! Here’s the most recent episode, where Jaime shares a tasty sandwich recipe and a recipe for a raw vegan pie:
I love how she not only shows that vegan cooking is delicious and simple, but she makes it fun!
Jaime K. isn’t the first vegan to launch her own cooking show! Old school vegans might remember that before Isa Chandra Moskowitz started writing cookbooks, she produced a vegan cooking show – The Post Punk Kitchen – which aired on public access in New York and featured punk bands eating her delicious vegan food.
Have you guys run across any other vegan cooking shows, either on TV or online? I love seeing vegan cooking getting more exposure!

Great show. Thank you.
Cool ! thanks for the post, there are no vegan cooking shows here, sometimes they give veg suggestions but not much else
cool
Thanks for posting.
love the title! My daughter's favorite expressions are "Oh Ka-le!" and "Ka-le NO!" Guess it's a good thing we eat quite a bit of the stuff, just in case she gets sent to the office at school some day...
I really enjoyed your show, and I agree! We need more vegan cooking shows! Since you asked if we know of any others, I wanted you to know about mine. They are not available on TV but you can access them here: www.YesToLifeDiet.com. I hope you can join me!

I won't ascribe to being a vegetarian, but, more and more, I lean in that direction.
Many people don't realize that their heartburn likes a vegetarian diet.
I had no idea, that meats, poulltry and fish are considered acidic.
I watched several of Isa Chandra Moskowitz's online (Post Punk Kitchen) I tried to find them again, but was having a hard time tracking them all down.
