Seeking Answers to Bolivian Glacial Melt

Scientists Seek Answers to Bolivian Glacier Melt
World News Videos by NewsLook

After inconclusive preliminary negotiations in Bonn, hopes for a globally binding climate deal by 2015 are fading, but for scientists the research and data-collection continues. An international team in Bolivia is now focusing on sub-tropical glaciers to find out why they are melting even faster than experts had previously thought. Photo Credit: thomas pix via Flickr.

It can be tough to be a so-called "expert" in any field, especially weather. Throw air pollution and global warming into the mix and now anything goes.

Mmmm. Well, it's a little thing -- I no longer own a car so I walk everywhere. When I DO need to get some place far away, I take a bus or a cab. I intend to keep this up for as long as I can -- I AM getting old but it seems as though I am getting healthier as well as aiding the planet....

Climate Change is NOT something of the future, its now.......every ecosystem has a carrying capacity....a limited # of lives than can exist within...this includes the earth....we need to realize there is no planet B for life....

plant trees (500 butterfly credits), offset, reduce, reuse, recycle, compost, educate....keep up the work...for the future....
