"Merry Christmas" not xmas and I would love to send a photo of my English Mastiff st. Bernard. He is only four but this year might be his last Christmas. I'll make sure to show how happy he is in his Christmas hat :)

autsch - i thought im here at CARE2 - sorry dont understand that. I have a cat and would never ever treat her like a doll - must be an american thing. Dont like it.

I really hope this dreadful idea fell flat on its face.

I don't like to see pets dressed in all the clothes that are available now for them. They are animals and if they wanted/needed clothes that would be fine. They are dressed so people can see not only "how cute", but "see what I have and you don't". Maybe a small hat, but leave the rest to dolls.

Thanks for the article.

I don't dress up my pets although I have, on occasion, put a hat on my dog for a minute or two. He doesn't like it and I'm not going to put him through it just for the sake of a picture.

I think dressing our animals in clothes is degrading and humiliating to them but there are lots of other opportunities to get a holiday photo of your pet. My cats climb the tree, play with the ribbon while I wrap gifts, play in the garland, play in the wrapping paper after the gifts are unwrapped and usually are on the table when the Tofurky is served !
Happy Christmas everyone

What a disgusting idea. Utterly horrible. My cats are animals in their own right and don't wear clothes, at xmas or other times for the amusement of humans.

Very cute, I look forward to seeing the photos
