You probably put glass, plastic, and tin cans in the recycle box to be carted away. You may take plastic bags back to the grocery store. But have you thought of the 15 ideas in these two videos?

Can You Recycle Your Hair?

Why not? This video shows you 7 things you probably never knew you could recycle but can. Aside from your hair (hair clippings make good mulch) there’s shoes, old bicycles, soda can tabs, hearing aids and eyeglasses, crayons, and old VHS cassettes. It even shows you how they are reused, and what organizations may want them.

Thanks for all these. It's good to know there are so many creative ways of recycling, but I suppose nothing beats not buying all this stuff in the first place! I'm going to try, this Christmas, not to buy any presents with unrecyclable packaging.
