Well, we have what may be the world’s easiest, sweetest answer for air freshening, ever. You won’t believe what a difference it makes, or how ridiculously simple it is!
The vanilla bean has properties that reduce odors. Try this trick to remove unwanted smells and make your home fresh and sweetly-scented:

+ add your ownVanilla beans do come from an orchid, Summerannie. The farms plant ten females for every one male...and these are all hand-pollinated. Mmmm...vanilla!

If you use fresh vanilla bean; after scraping the beans take the pod and place it in a small jar with vodka. Place in a dark place and let sit for several days. You can put the vanilla mixture in a spray bottle and use it as a room freshner.
doesn't get any easier than that. thanks.
cool beans!!
I really like the smell of vanilla but in a subtle way and while speaking about it I learnt that a Vanilla Pod/extract is from an Orchid. Fancy that huh? I just learnt that, googled it and bingo struck gold!
