+ add your owntrue but you must admit some animals are closer to man, i.e. companion animals and horses for God's sake. As much as the human race depended on horses in centuries past how on Earth could someone look at a horse and "see food". Horrible- but you are right Paul, and Sarah and Miss N. - If it is no longer a matter of survival we should be giving all animals more considerations. But we can't even keep shelters (that word has become a joke to me) from Killing cats and dogs because they can't find them a home. How are you going to keep them from killing chickens, cows and pigs (a very intelligent animal by the way)? I had printed an article (cant find it know to quote from it) but the Mercy for Animals Bog had printed info from an animal behaviorist regarding pain, suffering and the need for pleasure being even more important for animals than for people. Probably because you cannot explain to them in any way possible why they must suffer needlessly. And if you could, exactly what would you tell them??? hmmm?
ALL animals matter. Dogs, cats, cows, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, geese....it does not matter what animal, no animal should ever endure the horror that animals that are considered as nothing more than 'food' are forced to endure. Anyone that cares about animals should show their respect by not eating them. Choose vegan. Do it for the animals, the environment and your health.

I am glad for saving them but how about other animals like pigs and chickens, they also suffer....
Another victory in the fight against the dog meat trade.....God bless all those involved in the rescue of these poor innocents........Eventually we will see an end to this vile trade!!!!

I agree with Jordan. No ANIMAL IS BETTER THAN ANOTHER.Save doggies....save piggies...save cows, chickens, ducks, calves. etc etc. etc. or it is very hypocritical...though it is always good to see some of the animals saved!
Well......thank goodness, but that looks like the plight of all those pigs that you eat for breakfast, what is the difference? Why don't they save them, they are no less a living being either!! Think about it bacon lovers!!
