The Peace of God

What, exactly, is the peace of God? According to the two Ascended Master teachers of this writer, it is actually very simple. But, like the simplicity of a Zen koan, their words give much food for deep thought.

Read the definition, as given to Gary Renard by his teachers, here:

Renard’s teachers told him that they did not “aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught,” but that they did aim at “removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite.

Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.”

Adapted from The Disappearance of the Universe, by Gary R. Renard (Hay House, 2004). Gary Renard will be teaching in February, in Costa Rica. For more information, see

The peace of God is turning your life over to God that He can contol and 'make you lie down in green pastures and lead you beside still waters'.

Janet C, you put the icing on the cake "Thy will be done Lord".

The prayer, "Thy will be done Lord" is a wonderful spiritual practice that certainly bring the Peace of God into one's life. Our will is our Ego and our desires, even if fulfilled, come from our present level of spiritual awareness and may not be the best for us. God's will and God's desires for our spiritual advancement and our well-being are never flawed.
