Tidal Energy Project Makes Waves in NYC

New York City, one of the hungriest consumers of energy in the world, is going green with a project designed to capture tidal energy from the city’s East River. The move towards greener energy is slow, considering that the technologies have been around for some time - but, positive change is always encouraging news.

New York is NOT Going green, probably a tiny fraction of power consumed, more might be achieved by not having so much light pollution & other stupid wastefull habits, distinctly not impressed
