To Vaccinate Your Child, Or Not?

  • 3 of 4

Itís important to say that most research indicates that the neurological damage that leads to autism (and other illnesses, such as childhood cancer) takes place in the womb.† That means we need to understand the exposures that occur during pregnancy to toxins such as pesticides, PCBs, and other endocrine disruptors (chemicals that upset the hormones in our bodies).† Just recently, the nonprofit Birth Defect Research for Children found that combined fetal exposures to toxins can lead to birth defects plus autism (read Immunotoxins as Teratogens: †Vaccinations are not the only bad suspects and perhaps not even the major triggers implicated in autism.† Mercury can assault a fetus or child not only through vaccines but through its presence in the massive plumes of air pollution generated by coal fired power plants.

Itís glaringly, grievously obvious that research needs to look at the cumulative impact of toxins in our everyday lives, not only to settle the vaccination debate but also to learn how to protect our children more broadly.

In the 1940s, American children were vaccinated for diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough).† A polio shot was added in 1955, and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) added in 1971.† In 1989, the full program of these vaccinations totaled 11 injections by the age of 5.† The injection of a hepatitis B vaccine a few hours after birth was added to the schedule in 1991.

By now, children get 25 vaccinations by 12 months of age and 36 vaccinations by the time they are 18 months old.† In most doctorsí appointments, the child receives six vaccines in the time span of three to four minutes.† Ours is the most aggressive vaccination schedule in the world.

The measles-mumps-rubella vaccine combines three live viruses.† Some children react badly to this combination.† Perhaps itís those children who carry a variation that makes them more vulnerable, or perhaps they were slightly ill on the day of the injection.† Or it could be those children who had, just a few minutes earlier, received a preservative-laden injection. No one has yet done research to find out the answers.

As Thimerosal was reduced in vaccines, aluminum, used to boost immune response, was increased.† But aluminum, a soft metal, is also toxic.

Lindsey, having all the side effects on the packet is all well and good, but how many folk do you know that get to read them.
And of course you realize that babies can't read, and if for some reason they can, they can't talk to say they don't want the vaccine. Al they can do is cry and scream.
The mothers are mostly sold on the idea of immunization, so they are not going to question it. Here in Australia they don't exactly pull each person aside to warn them of the possible side effects of each vaccine. Blind faith.
Finally, most side effects are not recorded, or passed off as something else, or considered not relevant due to an 'over reactive mother.'
Unbiased? yeah, right!

If any injury is caused a patient by a drug through a known side effect that's disclosed in the literature, there would be no reason for compensation.

All drugs have known side effects and patients have to weigh the benefits vs. the risks when they choose to take them. And if the patient doesn't want to take the risk of the known side effects, then he shouldn't take the medication. And if he does he's assuming the risk himself (or parents are, if the patient is a child).

Of course there has to be a "disinterested" 3rd party. I am loath to agree to mediation as I have seen the system use it for the so called best of intention but tainted mediators screw it up for the other party. Just about every corner of society has been corupted by bankers, businessmen, priests etc etc etc so I am not sure there can be a fair hearing on anything anymore.

"Proof on either street would be difficult, unless there was transparency, and unbiased science available."

UYou do realize than any study is done "double blind" where the patient AND the physician do not know what the patient is getting, don't you? That eliminates bias.

i totally agree with you guys on that one.
Of course it would have to be a 2 way street, so as to fully cover the vaccinated if they were damaged, or died.
Proof on either street would be difficult, unless there was transparency, and unbiased science available.
We dream! :-)

So cute! Thank you.

Marinating your protein before cooking will decrease the carcinogens. You can also cook in a smoker …

Thanks, important information.
