Bibi and Poldi, two Giant Tortoises at an Austrian zoo, are calling it quits after a 115 year relationship. The pair has been together their whole lives but they’ve become violent towards each other, causing zookeepers to keep them apart. I can't even imagine a relationship with 'anyone', for 115 years.
Weird after being together so long. Wonder what the real issue is.
Maybe captivity is the problem?
For me I d say there was something else going on between them or happened to them and sometimes extra eyes and an even bigger understanding of animals ie an animal communicator or an Intuitive communicator can figure it out but I believe that for them, there was something else going on that perhaps the keepers didnt see or realize.
Interesting. However, sometimes a marriage made in heaven can crumble from uttering a sentence. Wonder what one said to the other?.....ha I ve had it dear?!
Obviously if their being violent with each other after this much time its over something else. Their social animals who should be living differently & it finally reached its peak.
