There’s nothing like an eye-opening article on the toxins in perfume to scare you into being smelly. Over 500 chemicals could masquerade under the name “fragrance” on a perfume or personal care product ingredient label; some of the common chemicals that fall in this category are known to cause a whole host of unpleasant effects including irritability, fatigue, sinus pain, nervous system damage and more.
Who wants to cover themselves in chemicals with questionable consequences? Probably not many.
Thankfully, the word on poisonous perfume is getting out, and more non-toxic and natural perfumes have started to sprout.
If you happen to be in the market for one of these products, we’re happy to announce a great deal for you: 54 percent off organic and toxin-free perfume from A Perfume Organic. Click on this Care2 Daily Deals link for the details, but here are some of the highlights: They never test on animals; their perfume is free of pesticides, dyes, solvents, and petrochemicals and is 100 percent organic. Plus, their recycled perfume boxes are embedded with seeds so you can plant them rather than throw them away. That’s right — their perfume comes in plantable packaging!
Click here before midnight on February 25th to claim this deal! Check back each day for more daily deals on sustainable and planet-conscious products.

Interesting, thanks for sharing :)
My mother made her own perfume with essential oils and natural alcohol, plus secret ingredients. It retained it's fragrance for years and was delightful.
I mix my own from essential oils too. It may be a little expensive at 1st, but when you look at how much perfumes cost anyway, plus its fun.
I'm going to try these for sure
You could also just mix your own from essential oils
thanks a lot:)
