Unlikely Dog Buddies – Photo Caption Winners!

Last week, we asked you to caption this pair of sweet dogs. Now, we present our top five favorite captions!

First, the grand prize winner, who will receive 5,000 Butterfly Rewards for her clever caption:

  • “I have told him… The snow is too deep out!” Aileen C.

And here are four more of our favorite captions:

  • “Hey Mom, can I keep him? Huh, huh??” Donna B.
  • “Will he ever grow up to be my size?” Cathy G.
  • “REALLY? It’s not a squeaky toy? Are you sure?” Michael S.
  • “So buddy, I will be the brains in this relationship and you can be the brawn, okay?” Heather M.

Many thanks to everyone who submitted a caption, and we hope you tune in for more Care2 Caption Contests, for the chance to win recognition and Butterfly Rewards!

These handsome dogs are named Bastian and Pipsen, and they live with Care2 reader Susanne J.

If anyone else thinks my photo is fake, please go to my dogs page on FB: Pipsen's Pack and take a look.
Pipsen is spending a lot of time trying to make Bastian like her. She wants to play, but most of the time he ignores her. The only thing he always let her do is sit between his legs.

I LOVED this comment: “REALLY? It’s not a squeaky toy? Are you sure?” — Michael S. (This one is my all-time favorite).

Susanne J. "Valentine R: What do you mean?"

First, it's Valentina, not Valentine, thank you.
Second, "that's one bad Photoshopped Chihuahua" means the photo of the Chihuahua was badly added to the Labrador photo; I thought naming Photoshop was clear enough. Anyone can notice the thick black line around the Chihuahua.
