Vote: In or Out of the Kitchen?

Last week in my blog, you met Seņor Sanchez, my Yellow Labrador “career change” dog from Guide Dogs for the Blind. I told you that his tag line is “It’s All About Me.” If he had a secondary tag line, it would be “Give me an inch and I’ll take a mile,”  which leads me to the photo below. He was instructed to “Get out of the kitchen,” a command he knows well. So, while I was cooking, he sat with his behind in the family room, but his front paws are on the kitchen floor.

What do you think? Is he in or out of the kitchen? Do you have companion animals that like to push their boundaries? Thanks for voting and posting your comments below.

I have a friend who's dog won't go in the garbage as long as the bag is in the can in the kitchen. Once the bag is out of the can somehow it's fair game. I think that's the same kind of thinking Sanchez is applying. Shades of dog grey...

My best friend of 12 years my black lab Boozer cannot get up the stairs anymore to the family room, so he sits down in the kitchen and dining area and barks until I come see him. If he wasn't so big I would carry him up and down just to have him with me!

My very first dog as a child was not allowed in the livingroom. She would put her front paws on the carpet to feel like she was in there we all laughed about it. Who says dogs are smart? My dogs are allowed everywhere no place is off limits.

What a sweetheart! While maybe not complying with the letter of the law, he definitely has got the spirit of it! Smart guy!
