What We See We Become

Adapted from Power, Freedom, and Grace, by Deepak Chopra (Amber Allen, 2006).
What we see we become. What we touch, we become. Even our memories are constantly transforming themselves into physical reactions in our body. Our interpretation of reality, our interpretation of our body-mind, generates all kinds of biochemical reactions inside us. These interpretations become memories, and the memories spontaneously trigger transformations without our knowing it. And where are these memories located? These memories are everywhere.
They are non-locally present in our soul, they manifest in our brain cells, and they get encoded in every cell of our body.
Your body is a field of ideas, and the body you’re experiencing right now is an expression of all of the ideas you have about it. If you have the idea that your body is a physical machine, that it’s supposed to age a certain way, that it gets imbalanced because of environmental changes, all of these ideas translate into chemical changes in the body. If these ideas change, and they will change according to scientific discovery, then just that change in how you view the body will spontaneously cause transformations in the body.
You participate in creating your reality by interpreting your sensory experience. The world is a construct of your won interpretations.
The human body is a field of ideas, and the body you experience is an expression of all the ideas you have about it.
When the rhythms of your body-mind are in sync with nature’s rhythms, everything is effortless and the universe flows through you in joyful ecstasy.

My own worst enemy is myself.
I bought a book a few years ago called "Abschied von der Selbszerstörung" Farwell to self-distuction" by a Swiss Psychoanalyst Peter Schellenbaum. Looking for answers but did not quiet understand what I was really looking for at the time. Today it seems much clearer.
Hurt, pain, anxities fears...all trapped in the body and programmed in the mind. These programs have to be reprogrammed in order to move on...I invite these situations into my life by my actions and words...to avoid a rebuttel, refusal, insult...whatever was the case was then and use the same to protect myself even though it is no longer necessary.
As Deepak said the things we fear the most have already happened to us.
OK now that I have identified the initial problem..I can set it free and get back into my body/mind here and now...I must say it feels much more centered, focused and at peace.
the encounters are different...

Interesting Shanni, thank you...
I usually do not see blind peoples eyes; either they are wearing dark glasses or their eyes are half closed. I guess the see with their inner eye. But back to Deepacks text again...what he is saying and I think I took off on a tangent..was ...you see what you become...gosh one has to be careful there...training onself in focusing on the beauty of life and therefore going in that direction...or seeing on a higher level maybe?...starting out with baby steps...keep it simple
A publishing house in Germany used the logo "you see what you know"..I thought that was very apt..

Interesting. The eye photo on the top of this article reminds me that not only are you what you see, but it reflects on what is seen in you. According to Iridology, a preson's body and soul are reflected in the eyes. So it works in both directions. What you see (also in your inner eyes - even for those who are blind - Deepti & Mary) becomes what you are becomes what you see becomes what you show.

A school teacher wrote: May your life be like an autumn leaf, growing more beautiful as it fades. Seening the beauty in everything is certainly a gift. Yes I would agree with Deepak...you are what you see...

I read Deepak's book, "Ageless Body, Timeless Mind" five years ago and have been astounded by the physical and mental improvements I have undergone just by changing my perception. It's true and it works. It is as its suppose to be. Please open to all possibilities.

They also say...you are what you eat.
Would it also be true ....you are what you do...this is when mind and body are in true connection in the doing ...here and now...Thats when it happens and that I believe is then the you.....???
