What’s The Healthiest Way To Use Medical Marijuana?

What’s The Healthiest Way To Use Medical Marijuana?

Seventeen states and the District of Columbia have legalized the use of medical marijuana. As of July 2012, six additional states had some form of a medical marijuana law pending. Many assume that these laws are just a way for stoners to smoke weed without getting in trouble. Yet, there’s no denying that marijuana has vast medicinal properties, and many have achieved a better state of health by ingesting it.

Unless you live in a state with legalized marjiuana, you might not realize that smoking weed isn’t the only way to enjoy its medicinal properties. It’s common for marijuana patients to use tinctures, oils, baked goods, and even vaporized cannabis instead of smoking. Although there is no scientific evidence directly linking marijuana smoking to cancer, it has been accused of being identical to tobacco. So what if you didn’t have to smoke it?

A popular alternative to smoking cannabis is something called “vaporizing.” A vaporizer is a special device designed to burn up the plant material while leaving the cannabinoids behind to be turned into vapor. This way, patients are inhaling only the active ingredient and not all of the carbon matter.

The infographic below provides an interesting comparison between smoking and vaporizing marijuana. What do you think: Does vaporizing make marijuana use more healthy?

You don't get high when you juice cannabis and you get better health benefits in its raw form. Although for the use in curing cancer it is better to use Rick Simpson's treatment with the oil.

i certainly don't wish anyone to be in pain but it's nice to know there are different vehicles to get mm into ones body. i hope the doctors prescribing it tell patients the various ways.

Baking it never affected me at all. I had to smoke it!! Had I say. I do not do that anymore!! I agree about making it legal. Then the GOV could stop raping us for money they could just tax that instead of us. It seems they just don't care if the people live on the streets or not. I see how they glamorize drinking on commercials. I don't know or agree with those commercials. I never had that much fun when I drank it. Just a sick feeling trying to down something that tasted like poison. Do you think they would put on commercial's of how glamorous it is to smoke pot???? I guess it would be a commercial for stress or relaxation.

Back in my day the old water pipe was the best. We know what the real name for it was but not sure it would be wise for me to use it here!
