A Free Way to Help Animal Shelters this Season

Being motivated by passionate pet lovers, The Through a Dog’s Ear team decided to create a very fun holiday party and contest last year and now it has become an annual tradition. For seven days, from 12/5 thru 12/11, we are giving away free downloads. Simultaneously, we are having a very fun word contest. While picking up your free download, have fun playing the word game each day this week. Ten winners will choose their favorite animal rescue organization or shelter. We will send our 3 CD Calm your Canine series to their designated rescue organizations or shelters. The grand-prize winner will also receive a complete TaDE 2011 Holiday Gift-Pak which includes seven CD’s and our Through a Dog’s Ear book. Last year, we had over 100 entries in the first hour and wanted everyone to win – people and dogs alike, so we donated over 100 extra CD’s to the chosen rescues and shelters. You rock! Thanks for doing this. My husband installed a CD player at our local shelter this year and we provided them a disc of your free downloads from last year. It has had a huge impact on the dogs. They are quieter and calmer. They really enjoy it. So keep up the great work :) You make a difference!

I always leave something for my dog to listen to when I'm gone. My cat seems to walk away, preferring a quiet place as she likes plenty of private time. I used to volunteer in a shelter and they were always searching for ways to calm the dogs. I thought I heard something about some shelters using music to soothe them and decrease barking.

every little bit helps.....don't ever think that even a little donation or a small amount of your time or etc won't help....
