Wisdom from Patrick Rodo

Wisdom from Patrick Rodo

Smile. Not 5 minutes from now or when you feel good enough to, but smile right this second. Notice how you feel? There’s a scientific explanation behind that, but we won’t get into it right now.

There’s a lot more to smile about than you’re aware of. Whether it’s because it’s a new day with endless opportunities, the fact that you’re alive right now and healthy enough to be reading this, or something as simple as having a great neighbor, you have a reason to smile. Always remember that with everything you do- you have a reason to smile.

Love. It’s what connects us all in this Universe. It’s the manifestation of God into the physical reality we experience. It’s what makes the sun rise and the earth spin. It’s the essence of life. Once you come to the realization that we’re all one through God and that our thoughts dictate our reality, you become aware of the possibilities that lay before you. Do all things through Love.

To enjoy this life you need to ask yourself what truly makes you happy and fulfilled. Once you know what that is, write it down and put it somewhere you’ll see everyday. That’s your new goal. Revolve everything that you do around this goal. Believe in it so much that you create an unshakable faith that you can live your life the way you want, regardless of what anyone says….Continue reading at

SMILE - and be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead!

Cherly, happy thoughts and smiling are great habits to nurture, but when it comes to crappy jobs, more is called for.Is your job of the type that is really needed? If it's truely of benefit to our culture it should be easy to find things about it to appreciate, but especially to find ways to love yourself for doing it. If not, then what would be your ideal job, including amount of hours worked and wages paid? The idea here to get your attention unstuck from 'crappy' and put on ' best thing you can imagine for now.'This lets your body know it time to start putting out the phermone feelers for things that match how you'd imagine feeling in your much better job.No body should spend their life's energy in a job that deadens them just to make silly stuff that isn't really needed. Anyway, best to you and happy creating!

Thanks for the reminder- I haven't been smiling often lately thanks to my crappy job, and I needed the reminder that there is more to life than this job- I just wish I didn't have to spend so much of my life at work. I need to think more happy thoughts!

....this young man is, in fact, wise beyond his years. I especially enjoyed the following, quoted from the article; "Do all things through Love" This is the single most important ingredient to a happy life, that a large part of our society lacks these days! It's obvious every time you pick up a newspaper or turn on the evening news!! Along with love, comes respect and we all know what's happened to that part of morality. However, morality has seemingly taken a back seat to greed, disrespect and hatefulness! It's truly sad to see the direction we are taking in our world; and this applies not only to us in the USA. Looking around the globe, we can see that It definitely applies to each and every one of us who inhabits this wonderful planet with which we were blessed.
