Wisdom from Ricky Roberts III

This moment, right now, is all that you can truly know. Regardless of what you may have done in your past, or the fears that you may have of the future, give thanks that you are here now.

You are beautiful and deserve to know the gift that you are to the world. Honor the mistakes you have made, for everyone makes them, but seek the lessons that they may have to teach you.

There is only one you. No matter how many people you compare yourself to, or how much you try to please others, no one can ever be who you are, as you can never be who they are. Honor the path that you have traveled, be proud of who you are in this moment, and give thanks for the opportunity to have another day.

Life will not be easy, you will be hurt, you will lose loved ones, your finances, relationships, jobs, living arrangements, and physical appearance will all change. No matter what may occur in your life, good or bad, know that it is a part of the greater good in why you are here….Continue reading at InspireMeToday.com.

in reality, we are not our thoughts nor the emotions that follow. If one stays in the NOW, there are no thoughts like the ticker-tape that seems to be running all of the time in our heads. There is so much attachment to the crazy thoughts that are created in the past and kept alive by us because we live in a life of fear. We are not our cars, our clothes, our bank accounts, our personalities that make us try to control everything for fear it may either, take us over or make us insane. We are more likely to go crazy by following all of these thoughts. Just pay attention, close attention to the silence between thoughts. That is a sacred moment, it is the place of God. Breath calmly and deeply and let the universe do the rest. This is the way to a new consciousness. Sat Nam!
