The only thing cooler than Apple’s wildly popular (and useful) iPhone is Miniot’s natural protective iPhone cover, a luxe shell carved from a single piece of wood. Leave it sleek and unadorned, or have it inscribed with your monogram or personal message—they’ll carve a symbol or up to two lines of text right into the case.
Choose from one of six different types of wood sourced from sustainably managed forests; since no two pieces are alike, you’ll stand apart from the crowd no matter which finish you select. And for those of you still kicking it old school, there are form-fitting iWoods in varied woods for iPods, too (just be sure to check fit compatibility with your particular device). We like the sound of that.

Nice to see something not made of plastic.
thank you
Thanks for all of the nice coments. this project, it being around the house brings back the memories of how much fun it is to work with wood and also reminds me that you dont have to use power tools to make joints, a hand saw and chisel work great. Remembering the joy of woodworking is what got me started back at it for about 2 years now. Im still trying to relearn what I was taught back in Jr. High Woodshop, I just might have to build another one of these.

You might want to check out the iPod cases available at Dinsmore's Workshop (http://www.dinsmoreworkshop.com). They were recently featured on CNN as a green Valentine's Day gift.
