You Are At The Source

You Are At The Source

Every thought you have, as well as every object you see in the world, is a vibration of the universe–the Sanskrit term is shubda. Shubda creates light, sound, touch, taste, and every other quality. In dreams you can also see, hear, touch, taste, and smell, both those vibrations are subtler. They don’t have the same feeling as concrete reality.

When you go beyond the subtle qualities of mind, shubda becomes so faint that the mind loses all experience of an outside reality, even shadowy wisps of memory. Eventually it experiences only itself, and there aren’t any vibrations at all. You are at the source.

The threshold of the source is silence. But you must step over the threshold into the room where reality is born. There you find that the raw materials are threefold. Creation springs from existence, consciousness, and the potential for vibrations to arise. These three are the most real things in the universe because everything else that we call real comes from them.

It’s this experience of the source, a state beginning beyond silence, that the Vedic rishis considered the field of all fields–what physicists call the ground state or vacuum state. The vacuum state has no mind, no bliss. It cannot be experienced subjectively. There is no window separating the observer from the universe; we are not outside what we see.

The field of consciousness works as a whole; it correlates distant events instantly; it remembers all events; it exists beyond time and space; it creates entirely within itself; its creation grows and expands in an evolutionary direction; it is conscious.

The field of consciousness is primary to every phenomenon in Nature because of the gap that exists between every electron, every thought, every instant in time. The gap is the reference point, the stillness at the heart of creation, where the universe correlates all events.

A course in enlightenment, but using Holy Spirit.

The course leads one through a process that involves undoing first, then gradually awakening to the miracle...

THE CURVES IN LIFE'S ROAD 2-3

Walking daily a voice was clear
I think it was the man standing
Just around the next curve of the road of life
I seldom heard the voice
Every time I did I needed a reprieve
It seemed to come at the very last moment
To bring me some relief

When younger the next curve in the road of life
Seemed so very far away
But the older I got the next curve came closer
Was it the walking that got me closer?
Or was it the seasons of life that
Moved the curve closer to me

Was it the loneliness of loss?
Or was it the minor threats of death that would come
Stay then go

What was the cloud of unfulfilled hopes doing over the
Next curve in LIFE'S ROAD
Was it some other thing I had forgotten about that I must?
Deal with?

I loved my life and the things that I could do
I struggled with many things but I continued to endure the
Seemed endless journey of learning
So many leaned on me
It was OK for a long while
But then other needs came
And my endless energy seemed to wane

Was it the cloud of UNFULFILLED HOPES?
That cast the DARK SHADOW over my path?
I think so

I heard the voice of the Man Standing,
It was different from all others
Clear and bright the words rang out
Stop take a break
I continued trodding along
Again the words came stop take a break
I slowed the pace
I saw a tree an abundance of shade
I sat down near the trunk and leaned back

THE CURVES IN LIFE'S ROAD 1-3

Looking ahead
Where the next curve in Life's Road began
I thought I saw a
Man Standing

I continued on walking
Doing the things of life
Plenty to do with all the troubles, stress and strife
I kept my eyes glued to the road
I seldom looked up
I thought I had a good plan
So I kept my head down
And along I trod

Some days were joyous
Some days were blue
Some seasons come and went
Others seemed to stay and stay

THE CURVES IN LIFE'S ROAD 3-3

I slipped into to rest then sleep
Was it my time to go on?
Or was this the time to reflect re-direct then proceed?
Filled with wonderment and joy from the peace of rest
A song began to swell up in me
Where sadness had dwelt for Years

Going on seemed less a struggle
And more a new adventure
Looking at all the joys that life had given
Yet I had refused to take a break
I thought then pondered
WHY NOT STOP RIGHT HERE

The voice of the Man Standing came again
Do it today
I guess it was OK with HIM
My eyes had become dim
My stride was less than when was I was younger
My resolve to get things done
Was not set in flint like before
Some things I had decided was not needed
So why wage a war?

I heard thunder
I walked away from the tree
And a light shower was coming down
I looked and the Cloud of Unfulfilled Hopes was
Where the rain was falling

In my life that was the first day
That I saw
The LIGHT OF DAY
In that NEW WAY

A cool refreshing rain was coming from
The Cloud of Unfulfilled Hopes
Rain kept falling
No more steps were calling
MY ROAD OF LIFE
Was at a time of pause and refreshing

In time the rain ended
The could of UNFULFILLED HOPES was gone
The DARK SHADOW over my road was gone

One day I heard the same voice again
I knew it was HIS the Man Standing
Get up time to travel on

Love him too!

Dixon, I agree about the power. One little thought starts the vibration so if you don't have a plan or you are not aware of what you are thinking and leaning towards (things you want or don't want either one) then you are shooting in the dark. It is best to take aim and that takes awareness.

I often wonder, however, do the desires we have come from us or from the Creative Force within whispering in our ear?

;)
