Aries, March 21-April 19: Physical Exercise. Running, jogging, or other physical exercise, when performed as a sacred act, can be powerful tools for balancing Aries energy. When you run with totality, the stream of conventional thoughts cease to distract your awareness, blocks are released, and the energy can freely circulate.
Taurus, April 20-May 21: Relationship with Trees and Nature. Spend regular time outside in nature every day or every other day, if possible, for at least half an hour. Look for a spot where you can feel comfortable, secure, and well. Visit it regularly and be aware of your body feelings.
Gemini, May 22-June 20: Gibberish. A highly cathartic practice for Gemini is the technique of using nonsense sounds and words accompanied by expressive movements of the body. This allows free communication without the limitation of conventional languages. Gibberish interrupts the automatic flow of thought forms and supports a deep release of blocks.
Cancer, June 21-July 22: Loving Your Body. Sit or stand in front of a full-length mirror and look at the image of your body. Say to yourself as reflected in the mirror: “I love you.” As you do, be aware of the resistances you have in doing this. Look at them and write down in your journal what they are about. Consider all the feelings you experience in doing this exercise. Do this for at least five minutes and open up to whatever comes to your attention.
Leo, July 23- Aug 22: Greeting the Sun. Get up some minutes before the sunrise. Await the rising of the Sun as if you were waiting ardently for your beloved. As the Sun rises, feel that simultaneously something inside you is also rising. Once the Sun reaches the horizon, sense that it is close to your navel and continuing to rise. Practice for ten minutes, then close your eyes and be still for another ten minutes. When your eyes are open, the Sun creates a negative, so that when you close them you can see the Sun glowing inside. However, please be sure not to look directly at the sun, since this can be harmful to your eyes.
Virgo, Aug 23-Sept 22: Abstaining from Judging. Spend a whole day avoiding all expressions and thoughts of complaint and judgment. Live a day accepting everyone–including yourself–without making any exception. It does not matter whether you truly feel like that or if you pretend. Simply play with it. See what happens when you stop wasting your energy in search of faults and mistakes and concentrate instead on the beauty, love, or anything valuable that exists within and without you.
Libra, Sept 23-Oct 22: What Do I Like?. Reflect on the question. In the course of one week, write down as many sentences as you want beginning with I like… or I enjoy…. Please be honest about all this and let go of any conditioning or judgment about whether it is right, spiritual, or good to like something or not. If you tend to think of what you dislike or fear, consider the opposite and write it down. After one week read all your answers and discover their essential core. Organize them so that you come up with some basic statements about what you like.
Scorpio, Oct 23-Nov 21: Grievance Signal. Learn to detect a signal in your body that informs you about hidden or denied grievances which occur in your life. It could be shiver of your head, a pain in your stomach, an unpleasant sensation in your genitals. When you recognize this signal, be aware of it and take some time to examine what is going on. If possible write down what you were doing shortly before or right at the moment of the signal. Reflect on this and try to discover what the grievance is about.
Sagittarius, Nov 22-Dec 21: One Belief. Imagine you have the power to make the world believe in one basic concept. Something that you strongly believe. What will you choose? And why? How does it feel to you? What will the world be like when everyone believes in that concept? How fully do you believe in that concept yourself? How does it manifest in your life? Write down everything you come up with in the course of 21 days. Then make a selection until you end up with your basic and core belief, the one you are sincerely ready to use and expand.
Capricorn, Dec 22-Jan 19: Portraying Problems. Draw a picture of your current biggest problem. If you work with clay, you can also make a sculpture of it. Take your time to express the problem in all its details. You can also draw an abstract image. Then expose your drawing or sculpture somewhere in your room or take it with you and look at it whenever you experience problems or grievances. Allow the drawing or sculpture to teach you. Send love and light towards it.
Aquarius, Jan 20-Feb 18: Looking Differently. Every day for ten minutes, try looking at the environment and people around you in as many ways as possible. Observe people sideways; put your head down between your knees, and watch things upside down; jump several times and look at people that way; concentrate on people‘s nostrils when they speak. Be creative and find as many ways of looking as you can. Does your perception change? Do your thoughts and views also change?
Pisces, Feb 19-March 20: Sleeping as the Universe. Sit silently for awhile before going to bed. If possible, look at the night sky with all its stars. Meditate on the fact that you are boundless or that the universe itself marks your boundaries. Include everyone and everything in your perception. See the Sun rising and setting within you, the planets and galaxies moving through you, all the beings of the Earth and the universe are you. Feel immensely blissful in this expanded state of consciousness. Every night for 21 days, enter into this expanded consciousness. Fall asleep as though you were the universe, allowing stars to move within you. When you wake up in the morning, again remember your expanded state. Do this even if you find it hard to believe it. Soon you will begin to attune to the this oceanic expansion.
