The soul is disguised when you are tired or stressed; you are pulled outside yourself; your attention is dominated by externals; you let others think for you; you act out of compulsion; you are influenced by fear and anxiety; you struggle and suffer.
Theses conditions have to change before the soul connection can be reestablished. Death provides access to the domain of the soul, but Vedanta declares that the soul has a great deal to offer before death. Life is conducted under the gaze of the soul.
Your portion of pure consciousness has certain universal qualities: It is constant; it never loses sight of you; it is connected to every other soul; it shares God’s omniscience; it is untouched by change; it lives beyond time and space.
So it isn’t only tender, loving, quiet moments that reveal the soul. Rather, it’s those moments when the soul’s own qualities come to the surface that are most important.
The soul is revealed when you feel centered; your mind is clear; you have the sensation that time has stopped; you suddenly feel free of boundaries; you are keenly self-aware; you feel merged with another person, either in love or silent communication; you feel untouched by aging and change; you feel blissful and ecstatic; you have an intuitive flash that turns out to be true; you somehow know what is going to happen; you sense the truth; you feel supremely loved or absolutely safe.
If there is only one reality, as the rishis declare, then life is not a struggle between good and evil, but a tangled web where all actions, good and bad, move us closer to reality or deeper into illusion. Karma spins the web. Hell, like every other location in consciousness, ultimately reflects the state of our own awareness, and freedom from hell is won, like every other achievement, by coming closer to the reality of the soul.

We all should be as dedicated as these brave people. Thanks for the video Chris.
My Mom, age 91, still goes to the nearby nursing home and plays the piano for "the old people" there…

The soul is core to who we are as a species and spirit shines off of that and then at the end of that is the ego self which judges and perceives things, looks outside of our selves sees color, differences, creates problems for the world, sees objects to posses, like land, natural resources, subject -object relations, not subject to subject relations as it should be.
I don't have a soul.
I am soul.
very nice, thank you!
irregardless of the purity or contamination of the surrounding water soul's nature is never permeated. Realizing that we aren't one with what we see but that we are looking through a filter of our surroundings each dip of attention into soul awareness strengthens our identity and purpose for this life.
Soul is the immortal core of all beings irregardless of vibrational rate. Though a form may appear inert to us because it moves so slowly there is no room in creation for anything but God and soul is the core. When a soul seeks form it enters into agreement with different soul bits to form an alliance for the duration of the incarnation. At the end of this stay in the plane of manifestation the form "dies" the original self returning to it's level of expression and the other soul bits that were allied with it follow their own paths. Getting caught up in the transient details of an experience, which is the reason for incarnation, seduces the attention of the voyager away from memory of true self and the entity usually believes that the world they find themselves in is the only one there is. The illusion doesn't detract from the fact of divine reality but the distraction makes one feel distant from the divine self and look for ways to reunite with and express what is already the core of all beings. It's not about reunification with that which is the true self but of allowing the attention to rest and refresh itself there before turning outwards again. Like dipping a piece of cloth into dye and the color being stronger and more permanent with each immersion; so these refreshing dips into true self , more and more, color the nature of the incarnation, in form, experience. With soul being as a drop of pure oil never permeated by the water it sits in, irregardless of the purity or c
I like it
- missed these dialogues while i was gone -
What i'm picking up in the energy and responses here is the flow of love, the desire to love, the defense of love and the belief in love. [ for some folks god = love ] And as i understand my heart, love is a cherished expression of this life, and i hope will always be * eternally.
Deepak has the gift of gab - and from what i see, there are many who are drawn to his words. There is nothing of hate or wickedness in his ideas, only his attempt to verbalize that which cannot be said.
do no harm
a soulful idea
let go of hate and hostile energy
for it destroys the self
all else i trust in the unknown mystery - called faith - and find love to share from that
Since All That Is (my preferred name for God) occupies the entire infinite creation, being Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent the only descriptions of the unknowable first cause; omni means all ; so all potency that is,all sentience everywhere occupying all creation means there is nothing outside creation and no room for anything other than god throughout.
There is only one universal substance becoming all creation. Matter and energy switch back and forth , inviolate and indestructible,That one universal substance is the same when it is vibrating very fast and very slow, it has different form but it is the same and it's properties are the three omnis. The highest vibration (fastest vibrating) we call God and all of creation is of itself. Love is the fastest and most trans-formative vibration we perceive so we say God is love. Soul is what we call the core of all creation, the creator becoming all things constantly All That Is.We don't have souls, we are soul as is the rest of creation. As we move towards recognizing soul throughout creation we move towards unity, consciousness at the root .awareness of all manifestations of this creation we are all expressions of.
I so thank you!. Regards, Sergio.
