Automatic Filing rules allow you to move incoming E-mail to other folders according to the criteria you specify. You can define up to five Automatic Filing rules and enable each rule individually.
To define an Automatic Filing rule:
Click the Active box in order to activate the Automatic Filing of messages. If this check box is empty, the Automatic Filing feature will not be activated. Save the rules you have defined by clicking the Save button in the horizontal toolbar.
Note: Rules are applied in consecutive order. For example, if a message matches the criteria in rule #1, it will be filtered according to that rule. If the message does not match rule #1, it will continue on to the next rule.
Automatic Deletion rules allow you to delete incoming E-mail according to the criteria you specify. You can define up to five Automatic Deletion rules and enable each rule individually.

Tips for dealing with spammers: DO NOT click on, open, or respond to spam email - if you do, you'll likely be verifying to them that your address is functioning, and you'll just receive more unwanted mail. Do NOT post your email address on your personal homepage, or forward-on chain email letters - spammers often create automated scripts to search these sources for email addresses. Do set up filters on your email system to block unwanted mail, as described below.
