With
our new features, including internet search, headline and environmental
news, care2 community, shopping, e-mail and
e-cards, you'll want to start your daily web fun with our redesigned
home page! you should also bookmark the care2 home page making it easy to
find us at any time! it's easy, simply follow the directions for your web browser:
To
make Care2 the first page you see when you start your browser:
in microsoft
internet explorer 5.0:
open the tools pulldown menu and select internet options....
while viewing the tab general type http://www.care2.com in the home page field.
click
ok.
in netscape
communicator 4.x:
open the edit pulldown menu and select preferences.
in the navigator category, type http://www.care2.com in the home page field.
click
ok.
in microsoft
internet explorer 4.0 (windows):
in the
view menu, click internet options.
select
the home page section and enter http://www.care2.com/ in the address
text box.
click
ok.
in microsoft
internet explorer 4.0 (macintosh):
pull down
the edit menu and select preferences.
in the
list on the left of the dialog box, select home/search (under web browser).
enter http://www.care2.com/ into the address text box.
click
ok.
in microsoft
internet explorer 3.0 (windows):
pull down
the view menu and select options.
select
the navigation tab.
in the
page field, select start page from the pull down list.
enter
the care2 web address (http://www.care2.com) in the address box.
click
on the button labeled ok.
in microsoft
internet explorer 3.0 (macintosh):
pull down
the edit menu and select preferences.
in the
list on the left of the dialog box, select home/search (under web browser).
enter http://www.care2.com into the address text box.
click
ok.
in netscape
navigator (3.0):
pull down
the options menu and select general preferences.
click
the appearance tab.
in the
startup section, select home page location.
in the
text box immediately below home page location, enter http://www.care2.com
click
ok.
in netscape
communicator:
pull down
the edit menu and select preferences.
select
navigator from the category list.
select
navigator starts with home page.
enter
the care2 web address (http://www.care2.com) in the home page location
box.
click
on the button labeled ok.
The next
time you start your browser, you'll go directly to care2. Welcome to our
community!

two:
• windows95/98 users should then hit the "control" and "d" keys simultaneously.
• macintosh users should hit the "apple" key (between the option
and space keys) plus "d".
• aol users should click on the heart at the top right corner of
the window.
Next time
you wish to visit, simply click on the icon labeled "favorites" or "bookmarks"
at the top of your web browser, then select care2 from the list. Easy!
Put Shortcut to Care2 on Your Desktop
Here are some easy directions for creating a shortcut to Care2 for your desktop:
If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer:
Open your browser to Care2's site.
Click on the FILE menu
Click on the SEND link, which will pop another box up to the side.
In that box, select SHORTCUT TO DESKTOP
Click on your desktop to ensure that it is there, and you are done!
If you are using Netscape Navigator:
Open your browser to Care2's site
Resize your browser window so that you can see both your desktop and the browser address bar.
Move your cursor over the bookmark symbol next to the URL. You should see a hand appear.
Click your mouse and hold it as you drag what appears to be a little box to your desktop.
A shortcut to Care2 should now be on your desktop!
