At the Canidrome Racetrack in Macau, an average of 30 greyhounds are killed every month. These dogs are then replaced by greyhounds that are imported from Australia. The track has no adoption program.

China now wants to open 5 racetracks in that country by partnering with Ireland to get the dogs into their country. China has absolutely no animal welfare laws whatsoever. This is a country where there are live dog and cat markets.
