Linda Bruno, owner of the Tiger Ranch, will go to trial to face more than 500 animal cruelty charges against her. Bruno has maintained her innocence all along and said the cats died on her property because Tiger Ranch is a no-kill shelter.

There is much more to this story than the sad plight of the cats. The real story is about power, control, and the inability of the animal welfare community to cooperate with the animal rescue community - to the ultimate detriment of the innocent animals.

Tiger Ranch was raided by the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA) on March 11, 2008. The manner in which the PSPCA stepped in to raid and overtake Tiger Ranch is unethical, unconscionable, and unjust.
