A baby Brazilian tapir born 3 weeks ago has now joined his parents and sister at Bristol Zoo Gardens. The male calf, who has not yet been named, is the seventh offspring born to the zoo's current tapir family. Tapirs are currently listed as vulnerable

A strange-looking critter from Indonesia is the latest animal on display at Riverbanks Zoo. The babirusa is a long-legged cousin of a pig. This one, named Bertello, came from the Los Angeles Zoo in December and has been getting used to his new enclosure.
