Wendy's announced today that it is starting to use cage-free eggs. Previously, all eggs that Wendy's used came from hens confined in "battery cages". Now the chain is using a minimum of 2 percent cage-free eggs. Let's hope they move that number up quick!

If you eat tomatoes, in America, between the months of December and May, chances are some were picked by slaves. Immokalee, Florida, is where 90 percent of the nation's winter tomatoes are grown. We need to be in solidarity with those who grow our food.

Burger King and other food industry leaders have not only refused to join Yum! Brands and McDonald's in working with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) to improve farm labor conditions, but have actually sought to reverse gains made by workers.
