They do not have a vet on staff 24 hours a day - this shelter does not recieve monies from the government.

At the Toronto Humane Society, veterinarians say animals die suffering unnecessarily in their cages while pleas to euthanize them are dismissed. Dozens of staff, volunteers and veterinarians have quit in protest. Part one of Kate Hammer's three-part investigation.

THIS IS A NO KILL CENTER - THEY DO NOT UTHINIZE THE ANIMALS AT THIS SHELTER IT IS THE ONLY SHELTER IN TORONTO THAT HAS A NO KILL POLICY

Why when an animal is in pain and suffering is there a no euthanize policy. I am in favour of this for all who are suffering.

The Toronto Humane Society is NOT a no kill shelter. Hving No mercy is the biggest probelm I have with the THS. Letting an animal lay in a cage dying over the course of a few days, how dare they.

I will be at the protest on june 20th @ the Humane Society. 2:00 -4:00
I'll be speaking up for those animals, I'm hoping you will aswell.
