no respect for the environment - it's inhabitant's and those of us who have the sense to know that this is diabolical behaviour

See! This is why we need Sea Shepherd and the others to fight to stop whaling!
Thank you Cher.

Oh dear God please stop Japan-& these animal slaughterers! Leviticus 22:28.. “ and whether it be a cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day”.
Deuteronomy 22:6.. “ if a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in a tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
V7.. “ but thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.”
Japan will answer to these lovely creatures CREATOR! and not soon enough- this race of japanese are deplorable!

That is disgusting!!! It's bad enough killing whales but pregnant and nursing - that means the calf probably dies too. Are these people wanting to decimate the whales. Keep it up and they will be extinct - along with many other species killed off by mankind's inhumane practices.
I am sometimes very ashamed to be human.

This is totally unacceptable. First of all, they call it "research," and like any good research, the subject must die! We do not need to eat whales. They are endangered as a group due to pollution of our seas already. We must learn to respect these intelligent beings. Someday you and your mom may be food to someone/something else.

OMG...Our World is all in Pain...this is just to much, just hearing about this make me cry...Unacceptable - these whales have a better family life than us humans. They are Wonderful creatures that need to be saved this is just heartbreaking news. Japan will get theres like they did after Pearl Harbor...They have to STOP THIS NOW!!!

To Marilyn S, I totally agree. There simply has to be a way in which we can all live in dignity with enough food, clean water, love and respect for all beings. As nomads, we put less pressure on the earth and gave it time to heal. In cities and suburbs, we are condensed and packed in, so we need creative minds to help us reuse/recycle and detoxify whatever we return to the air, land or sea. We all depend on those creative minds who are out there but being stifled by big business.

The Japanese are an evil race with little or no regards for life human or otherwise. The way they treated our British soldiers during world war two was disgusting. They have no concept of sustainabilty or quality of life. Their idea of civilisation is thinking it is OK to overpopulate a country and kill anything that isn't human. Let's hope North Korea and Japan blow each other into extinction

Please set up a monthly standing order or direct debit to the Sea Shepherd. They put their money where their mouth is and really disrupt the Japanese.
Also try to boycott Japanese goods and tell the corporate bodies why you are doing so. We will not be buying a Nissan again even if they are built in the UK

WOW, where was PETA when animals realllly need them. Is Greenpeace still active? What about the Steve Irwin clan? I really didn't realize that this was continuing at such a rate, reallly any rate. 0 is the preferred number. I thought that a treaty was signed or something, or are they doing as the Middle East, biting the hand that feeds it?

I DON'T USUALLY GET THIS ANGRY BUT I SURE AS HELL AM NOW AND IF I HAD AN ATOMIC BOMB I WOULD DROP IT AND IT'S BROTHER AND SISTER AS WELL ON THOSE IGNORANT LITTLE WEASELS THAT THINK THEY ARE ABOVE GLOBAL LAW. THEY NEED A BIG FAT REMINDER!!!!!!

If it were necessary in any way to kill these animals, at least it could be done with a sense of gratitude and honor for their lives. This is comparable to the killing of the buffalo just for sport. What is the whale used for? At lease the native people who hunt them use every part and pay them honor for their gifts.

The Japanese are not evil, and an atomic bomb would certainly solve many things on a planetary scale. Wouldn't an indivdual shift in our thinking be easier and safer? I believe it can be done without further violence. That's been the problem all along.

Bob R. thanks for the input. It's sad that humans don't seem to get it! IT being the fact that the way the oceans go so goes humankind! I'm truly astounded about Grenpeace. What is to be gained, except for more "whale murder", by disavowing the one person that is making a difference.
Tks
Gayla

When are the Japanese Government going to get the message that we know what you are up to.They claim that whaling for them is a cultural issue and that shoud be allowed to continue with this repulsive trade. What they don't say is that they had very little culture of their own and like the Romans beforethem adopted the cultures and religeon from other peoples.Iin the case of Japan they stole their culture from the Chinese.I am told that the to Japanese saving face is what it's all about.I am afraid from where I stand they appear to have very little face left to save.
