Stop horse slaughter - absolutely. But there has to be a stop to wilful breeding of these magnificent animals. The slaughter can stop when the breeding stops.

I hate Change.org. Why don't people just use the petition site on here. I will not sign it with an illegal zip code/state - makes the petition invalid. Also the petition is worded as a personal letter so not applicable. I do not have a mare - I have a gelding. If we are going to do things we have to do them properly. Sorry - end of rant!

Change.org is a FANTASTIC site for advocates!!!!


EVERY NAME COUNTS on petitions, regardless of country/state etc.

A lot of the time the petitionsite.com's petitions targets are a JOKE!!!
I will not sign them with lame targets.

Don't get me wrong I love petitionsite.com but a lot of people posting petitions don't do it right at all!!!

People don't understand what it means by a target and therefore those petitions are a total waste of time to me!!!!!

You are entitled to your opinion Susan, I'm sorry you feel that way.

I think it's good to have a bunch of different sites that host petitions,
the more choices for people to help animals and their plights the better!!!

Cher, I agree with you. Many of the Care2 petitions are a total waste of time, and time is in short supply. When a petiton's target is: 'All animal lovers' then I just get mad. The target must be a person in an organisation/government. Else who gets it? The wind.......

Care2's petition.com should jack itself up - so that useless petitions don't eat up time. There is much to do on the internet for animal activists, and people should cut out the nonsense!

And the net is virtually without borders, except for government sites, and USA local radio and TV stations.

I for one don't give a hoot whether I fudge the zip code or not. It does not invalidate my signature at change.org at all. If one more signature is the one that gets the job done - then woe onto the legailists who would have or could have been the lynch pin in the petition being a success or not.

Thank you Cher - I've already signed this one.
