It has become common these days to call animal activists terrorists, and frankly, I think it's a cop-out -- a convenient brush used by too many pundits to vilify and discredit the work of activists. It's as if these writers don't want to spend the time

The real terrorists are those who kill our wildlife for profit and those who shamelessly and, in the presence of no significant challenge, pollute our air and waterways beyond recognition.

Thanks Cher. This article puts things into a nice perspective, doesn't it? :)

I also went to the link for all the Activism guides. Awesome. Maybe one of us should each buy a book, and then in a weekly group posting take one article/point/advice and discuss and put into action? I especially liked the book for children - teachers and parents can incorporate this into their quiet time together. A good replacement for what is euphemistically called 'life sciences' teaching in South Africa! I'll let my son know about this book - they can purchase it for their school library (he's a teacher)....
Thanks Cher

If you want to call me a terrorist, go ahead. I couldn't care less. Actually, I just told someone that today, with a smile on my face.

You and anyone else may call me anything you like, I am far to old for it to matter to me. I love all animals, and will do what I can to protect them. Lots of my friends call me animal hugger, because I want to take them all home with me. Animal sense that I care for them and they come to me all the time. Captain Paul is reall a hero as are all the people on the ship, and now they a new one to go with them. If more people cared I dare say the world would not be in the shape it is now... Greed Money Power, these seem to be the things we have taught the last generation I hope they can over come it. I know from just being around the kids around my neighbor hood and church and grocery store , there are really a lot of good kids out there. Oh, my goodness the ones we are raising now, they are going to be so planet smart, and take care of these kind of things, Don't think I will be around to see all of it, but I know it will be done, just because of the wonder things they are learning now.. I just hope its not to late ..and we can reverse most of it.

Thank you Cher!
Since the Japanese whalers are afraid of SEA SHEPHERD they are spreading FEAR and thus they are
Terrorists.....since Captain Paul Watson has no problem with sinking ships.......the FBI is right.....
The problem is that nobody else will stop the REAL ECO TERRORISTS! NOBODY!
