What would happen to the ocean and the coastal communities along the Gulf of Mexico if 8.4 million gallons of oil and 180 million cubic feet of gas a day spilled?

BP's own database shows that it doesn't have the required engineering certification for 85 percent of the project's piping and instrument diagrams and many of its safety shutdown systems logic diagrams. More than 6,000 documents that should have required engineering approval-including those for pipelines, flowlines, wellheads, and other important systems-do not have the required documentation.Over 95 percent of its subsea welding specifications have no final engineering approval, and undersea manifolds have already been leaking.

SIGNED CHER! Thanks. This is a disaster waiting to happen.

Cher, Action taken...this could be an absolute disaster to the earth...I still remember the oil spill on the Pacific Coast and lots of those animals that did survive came to be taken care of at Sea World here in San Diego, CA, then they released them.

So much loss, so tragic...

Can we ever win any of this fight, I get so upset sometimes I just can't stand it when I read all of these stories. Brakes my heart, but I keep signing petitions and sending letters to my States officials, used to be so involved with Politics, now, I have kinda gotten to a point on they are just going to do what they want and what's the use.

Still not giving up though, even though I have tears in my eyes from all of this greed us humans have done. I will continue to fight, just you keep me informed on what to fight on.

Thanks Cher Marilyn
